June 14th, Saturday, Explorando el Columbia Slough from 1-5 pm. Tailored to the Hispanic community, events in English and Spanish include guided canoe trips, live entertainment, games and more at Whitaker Ponds located at 7040 NE 47th. Free. For more info 503-281-1132.

June 17th, Tuesday, CAN Transportation Land-use Committee 7-8:30 pm at 4779 NE Going.

July 11th, July 18th, July 25th, August 1st (Fridays) and August 5th (Tuesday) Fernhill Concerts in the Park, from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, located at NE 37th and Ainsworth St.

July 12, Saturday: Carnaval, presented by Vecinos en Alerta from 5-9:30 pm. A cultural parade begins at 5 pm at Cully & Prescott continuing to 6850 NE Killingsworth. Cultural dances & family fun.

July 27th, Sunday, NE Sunday Parkways event from 11 am-4 pm.  Bike, walk and explore Neighborhood Greenways while making your way around the NE Portland route.

August 2nd, Saturday, Fremont Fest NE 42nd to NE 52nd, includes a 5K run, parade of vintage cars & bikes & pets, pub crawl, entertainment, kids’ zone, and vendors on NE Fremont Street.

August 5th, Tuesday, National Night Out.  Hold a neighborhood block party and get to know your neighbors. Contact Central NE Neighbors, 503-823-3157, for registration details. The Cully Association of Neighbors is offering a $50.00 grant for up to 6 Cully NNO registered parties.  Save your receipts, contact CAN Treasurer John Wasiutynski at 503-893-8561 for reimbursement details.

August 23rd, Saturday, 42nd Ave Street Fair, noon- 5pm near NE 42nd and Alberta Ct. Festival features food, music, games and more.  Sponsored by the 42nd Avenue Business Association.

11th, 18th y 25th de julio y 1st y 5th de agosto, Concertos en el Parque de Fernhill, de 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, situado en NE 37th and Ainsworth St.

12 de julio, Sabado, Carnaval será presentado por Vecinos en Alerta de 5-9:30 pm. Un desfile cultural comenzará a 5 pm en Cully & Prescott y continuo a 6850 NE Killingsworth. Bailes culturales & diversión familiar.

27th de Julio, Domingo, Evento de Nordeste Vías de Parques de 11 am-4 pm. Ande en bicicleta, camine y explore Vías Verdes de Vecindarios mienstras haciendo su camino alrededor de la ruta de Noreste Portland.

2nd de agosto, Sabado, Fremont Fest de NE 42nd a NE 52nd Avenidas, incluirá un 5K run, desfile coches de época & bicicletas & mascotas, visitas de pubs, entretenimiento, zona de niños y vendedores en el calle de NE Fremont.

 5th de agosto ,Martes, Nacional Noche Afuera. Identify board roles, expectations and responsibilities and if there should be any changes. 

Greeter at CAN meetings, send out e-mails. 

Confirm who will be attending CNN landuse meetings and Parks committee meetings (Verde, Living Cully, Columbia Biogas etc.)  

Review Board information for accuracy for CAN flyers.  

Review June events and Summer Calendar. 

Sunday, June 5 opening day for Cully Community Market.  Want to table, when?

July 11th, July 18th, July 25th, August 1st and August 5th Fernhill Concerts in the Park, tabling on any dates?  Can let other groups use our spot but have to let Parks know.

August 23rd 42nd Ave Street Fair. Do we want to table?
