SMART Reading and Book Program Looking Forward to Another Successful Year

The SMART Reading and Book Program at Harvey Scott and Rigler was a big success last year. Because of our caring volunteers, many of them from the Cully Neighborhood, more than 100 children were able to participate this year. Neighbors and other friends volunteered more than 1,500 hours this year in The SMART programs at Harvey Scott and Rigler.

Those good people shared about 8,000 books with SMART students! It doesn't end there. Because of volunteer participation the SMART program at Rigler and Scott was able to give over 1,200 books to children for their home libraries. That is a lot of good books.

It would be great to have even more children participate in SMART next year. You can help us reach our goal.
