THANK YOU, CAN!
Great News for the Cully Neighborhood!
Congratulations to the Cully Neighborhood on being selected as the pilot area for the Clean Energy Works Portland community based phase!
This means that 100 homes in the Cully neighborhood will be able to access affordable and no upfront cost energy efficiency retrofits in their homes.
This will be a true Neighborhood Project. As we all work together, we will:
- Reduce Climate Change
- Create 17 new living wage jobs
- Save Money on Energy bills
- Metropolitan Alliance for the Common Good (MACG), with a team of neighborhood organizations and contractors including CAN, wrote the winning proposal on behalf of Cully.
How to Get Involved:
- Retrofit. Interested in getting a retrofit? You could qualify for an average of $9000 worth of home improvements, making your home more comfortable and energy efficient. There are no upfront costs, and there is no extra cost per month from what you are currently paying on your utility bill.
- Outreach Activities. In order to reduce climate change, save money on our energy costs, and create jobs, we all need to work together as a neighborhood. You can volunteer to talk to your neighbors about this project, help plan a fun summer kickoff event, and participate in other ways.
- Keep Informed. Not sure how you want to get involved? Keep in the loop with us as we move forward.
