Topic 1: Proposed Changes to Tri-Met Line 72 Bus

Tri-Met, Metro, and the City of Portland want to hear your feedback on their proposed changes to bus line 72. We’ll host a neighborhood discussion on the proposed changes and collect your thoughts to share with all three agencies.

Take CAN’s survey on line 72 changes.

Tri-Met hopes to convert the section of line 72 along 82nd Ave to an express service, similar to line FX2. If Tri-met makes the change, riders coming to or from Cully would change buses at a new transfer station. Tri-met has proposed four possible locations for splitting the line and placing a new transfer station.

Tri-Met, Metro, and City of Portland want more feedback from Cully residents and Cully Association of Neighbors on how these changes would affect transit riders in the neighborhood and where Tri-Met should locate the new transfer station. Zef Wagner, senior transportation planner with Portland Bureau of Transportation, will attend to hear feedback and answer questions.
