Community for Positive Aging is working with a great group of folks to put on an event on Thursday, July 16th. We're calling it Power of Connection - Energy Saving Solutions for Aging Well. Our goal is to bring together service providers and older adults in the community to discuss energy affordability, energy efficiency upgrades and related topics. Together, we will explore resources to make people's homes more safe and comfortable while saving money and improving sustainability!
PGE and NW Natural will be onsite offering bill discount sign up, and Energy Friendly Homes will also be there to help people learn about that great program. Plus we will have pizza and refreshments for attendees!

Community for Positive Aging está trabajando con un excelente grupo de colaboradores para organizar un evento el jueves 16 de julio llamado El Poder de la Conexión: Soluciones para Ahorrar Energía y Envejecer con Bienestar.
Nuestro objetivo es reunir a proveedores de servicios y personas adultas mayores de la comunidad para conversar sobre la asequibilidad de la energía, mejoras en la eficiencia energética y otros temas relacionados. Juntos exploraremos recursos para hacer que los hogares sean más seguros y cómodos, al mismo tiempo que se ahorra dinero y se promueve la sostenibilidad.
Representantes de PGE y NW Natural estarán presentes para ayudar con la inscripción a programas de descuento en las facturas de servicios públicos. Además, Energy Friendly Homes ofrecerá información sobre su excelente programa de mejoras para el hogar.
¡También habrá pizza y refrigerios para todas las personas asistentes!
