CAN Transportation and Land Use Meeting
Please join Cully Association of Neighbors on Wednesday, June 17 at 6:30 pm for our summer Transportation and Land Use meeting. For this hybrid meeting, join in person at Northeast Emergency Food Program or on Google Meet.
We'll discuss opening access to Sacajawea Park from the west side, which is currently blocked by a locked gate on NE Alberta Street. Opening the gate to pedestrians and bikes will improve access to the public park and create a new, safe route through east Cully. But some neighbors have expressed concerns to Portland Parks and Recreation in the past.
Parks and Rec will consider opening the gate if the neighborhood supports it, so please come to the meeting with your reasons for opening access or any concerns that the city should address.
