Parade entries: 70+ Including the Rose Festival Clown Prince, Rosarians, brass bands, premier Chinese dance groups, classic cars, Rosarians, America’s First Corps Band, City & Metro Councilors, costume characters, dance and theatrical groups, plus Middle and High school Marching and Jazz Bands. In celebration of the 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade’s 20th year (theme: History of East Portland), enjoy an expanded 3-day event with multiple activities happening each day including the famous Roses in the Heart of Portland Parade, Funtastic Carnival, classic car show, farmers market, and Rose Photo Contest.

Come shop at our spring pop-up NE Village Benefit Plant Sale! Held on Saturday and Sunday, April 18 & 19, 8 am to 4pm. We will have a variety of landscaping shrubs ($20 for 3-5 gallon) and small trees ($60) available. Arrangements can be made for tree delivery and installation. Plants and expert advice provided by Dean Fagan, owner of Vivero Plant Nursery. Twenty percent of all proceeds will go to NEV, a vibrant and engaging community of older adults (60+) living in 18 neighborhoods in northeast Portland.

Let’s show our neighborhood some love. Join your neighbors for a community litter pickup on NE Killingsworth near NE 42nd and help keep Cully clean, green, and beautiful. A little time makes a big difference!

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a backpack for hands-free convenience. Feel free to bring your personal tools if available and a reusable water bottle to support our sustainability efforts.
What's Provided: Light snacks and water provided. All tools and equipment will be provided by SOLVE
Restrooms: No public restrooms are available
Parking: On Killingsworth and side streets, including the parking lot at 4125 NE Killingsworth St.

Plan for a Resilient Oregon (PRO) is a people-centered, multi-hazard resilience strategy commissioned by Governor Tina Kotek. Verde and CAN are facilitating an upcoming focus group.
District 2, Meet Your City Councilors
Do you live, work, or love to visit North/Northeast Portland? Then we invite you to meet District 2 City Councilors Sameer Kanal, Elana Pirtle-Guiney, and Dan Ryan at this special event presented by City Club of Portland's Program Committee.
With one full year of experience in these roles, and a full year of working under Portland’s new form of government, there’s much to talk about! Hear the Councilors reflect on the challenges and achievements of the past year and the opportunities they see going forward!
The evening will begin with a panel discussion moderated by Willamette Week’s City Hall and neighborhoods reporter, Sophie Peel, incorporating community questions submitted at registration. After the panel, the Councilors will stay on for informal conversations with you, your neighbors, and friends from District 2!
