The Portland City Auditor Hearings Office held a public hearing to close out Portland Permitting & Development’s land use review of a proposed daycare/preschool at 6405 NE Wygant St. PP&D had already recommended approving the daycare development:
“Staff finds the proposed daycare would be compatible with the surrounding residential neighborhood and would not cause significant negative impacts on neighbors. The transportation system and other public services are adequate to support the proposal, and the proposal is consistent with the Cully Neighborhood Plan. With the recommended conditions of approval listed below, staff finds that each of the applicable Conditional Use Review approval criteria are met. With these conditions, staff recommends approval of the proposal.”
