Middle housing land divisions allow a property owner to split a lot into multiple small lots for duplexes, triplexes, quadplexes, cottage clusters and townhouses. Dividing the land allows the property owner to sell the dwelling units along with the land underneath them, allowing people who purchase middle housing units to have the same property buying experience as owners of single family detached homes.
