Hollywood Farmers Market and Community Booth After two years without them, we’re pleased to announce that we’re bringing back non-profit community booths to the Hollywood Farmers Market for the 2022 season! There is no charge to community partners for space at the market, and many organizations find tabling at the market a great way to connect with new potential volunteers and supporters. Community booth season runs every Saturday through November 19th. Right now most Saturdays still have available space, but the schedule will fill quickly. See Our 42nd Avenue for more details. Sunday Parkways Returns to In-Person Events this Summer! Exciting news! Portland Sunday Parkways presented by Kaiser Permanente is back in-person for its 15th anniversary! Join us for this special occasion as we open the streets for two events this year. We will kick off the summer on Sunday, June 26 in Northeast Cully and end the summer on Sunday, August 21 in East Portland. At these family-friendly events, streets on the route are closed to car traffic so that you can bike, walk, roll and play in Portland’s largest public space, its streets. We’ve created two fantastic new routes that highlight our network of neighborhood greenways, parks and community resources. In addition to our two live events, we are excited to bring back the Kaiser Permanente Sticker Hunt to inspire you to walk, bike, and roll all summer long. There will be five Sticker Hunts each in a different neighborhood that you can explore any day you choose from June to August to earn a fun reward. Hollywood Senior Center Community At Community for Positive Aging–Hollywood Senior Center, we’re excited to announce that we have officially reopened two days a week: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30am-4:30pm. We welcome community members to come back to the center to reconnect with others while taking part in the great variety of activities happening here. We’re also happy to announce CASH Oregon tax assistance appointments. The the appointments for the weeks of March 21 and March 28 will be released on Monday, March 14.
