In early October 2022, the Cully/57th Complete Street Project received funding through Metro’s 2025-27 regional flexible funds program. The project will improve Cully Blvd and NE 57th Ave between Klickitat and Prescott streets. Improvements include new sidewalks, widening of existing sidewalks, two new pedestrian crossings, more protected bike lanes, an improved signal at NE Fremont St, and a transit island at NE Mason St. This project should improve safety and accessibility along the Cully Neighborhood’s main street.
