Cully Association of Neighbors received a notification letter for a major alteration at 4324 NE Emerson St. The homeowner is increasing the footprint on the main level by 245 square feet to make a larger kitchen. The existing 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom will remain as is. The homeowner will remove stairs to the attic from a bedroom closet and build a new open staircase from the existing hallway. The homeowner will remove the roof and create a full height second floor consisting of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a utility room. The project will add a total of 1,310 square feet of finished space. No changes are proposed to the basement other than structural requirements.

Cully Association of Neighbors received a notification letter for a major alteration at 4410 NE Emerson St. The property owners are replacing an old backyard workshop with a new shop. The new structure will have a steeper pitch roof to allow for second story and will be attached to an existing covered patio. The new shop will be unconditioned space. The first floor will contain a bike storage room, work shop, and bathroom/wet room. The second level will have two workspaces.
